For Scholarship Application and Selection Process 2012
The following is an approximate but fairly accurate guide to the timeline for the various steps in the 2012 scholarship application and selection process for your information.
- January 18 - Scholarship applications, examples and manual available on the website (www.jovenesadelante.org), Jóvenes Adelante’s office and preparatorias.
- January 28 - Workshop with interested students to apply for the scholarship.
- March 2 - DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS (at Jóvenes Adelante’s office or la Conexión Box 49 A, Aldama No. 3).
- March 12 to 23 - Selection and notification of students for their interview.
- Abril 3 and 11 - Interviews with students by the staff/volunteers of Jóvenes Adelante.
- May 1 to 30 - Home visits to students by the staff/volunteers of Jóvenes Adelante.
- July - Final approval of new students (unless Jóveves Adelante has not received all the final averages, proof of admission or registration.) Notification and meetings with selected students to sign contracts.
- August 5 - First beca distribution
